Of Tree has a couple reasons to celebrate this week: the trio recently wrapped up a successful Kickstarter campaign to fund a full-length album, and is releasing a new EP entitled “Sorry We’re Chosen.” The EP features five dark folk-influenced songs penned by guitarist Benjamin Parks over the past seven years. His wife Laurel Morgan Parks — an accomplished violinist who also performs with alternative string duo The Wires — adds a divine, dramatic quality to the tunes.
